What happens when the Swiss Housing Cooperatives, a Housing Europe member asks a popular crime novelist in the country to come up with another murder case? This leads to the perfect summer read with a touch of cooperative housing on it...

Stephan Pörtner is one of the most popular crime writers in Switzerland and known for unfolding exciting murder cases. No wonder, then, that the Swiss Housing Cooperatives, a Housing Europe member turned to him when the idea was born in the International Year of Cooperatives to publish a detective story that a cooperative settlement as its scene. 

"Moorgarten" is the name of the cooperative community that is situated within the community in a large city and Edgar Zingg, the unconventional, passionate caretaker has his hands full when a murder suddenly disturbs the peace while threatening to destroy the reputation of the settlement. 

People start talking about a "Murder Garden"... What happened? Has here a cooperative killed the other in a drunken stupor - like the police suspect - or is there more to it? Edgar Zingg embarks on the trail...
