Presentation of the Housing Europe Review 2012 and the Housing affordability Briefing
We would like to invite you to discuss our latest research publications:
- Housing Europe Review 2012: the nuts and bolts of European Social Housing systems, which compares the different social housing systems in all its dimensions (financing, eligibility, affordability, actors) against the background of growing housing exclusion.
- Housing affordability in the European Union: current situations and recent trends, which gathers available data on the different dimensions of affordability.
The findings in those research pieces will enlighten the discus-sion about the social and economic impact of affordable hous-ing policies in a time of economic downturn with significant social consequences. This will also help the reflection around the recently published 2012 Annual Growth Survey which sees access to affordable housing as one of the priorities for the EU and Member States to tackle the crisis.
