Special Edition: Best practices in tackling housing exclusion and poverty

Housing exclusion has been increasingly on the public debate in most European countries over the last decade. Worsening affordability, rising homelessness in many parts of Europe, the surge of shanty towns in some cities and the emergence of new forms of vulnerability are quoted as rising trends across Europe.

In addition, the current economic crisis has put financial and housing systems in the spotlight as not responding to housing needs in times of crisis.

This special edition of CECODHAS Housing Europe Exchange presents some examples of the members' work carry out in tackling housing exclusion and poverty.
