Brussels, 11 December 2012 | Published in Energy, Economy

The EU project "Structural Funds for Energy Investments" was designed to increase the use of Structural funds in general and investment in sustainable energy in particular. Close cooperation between 10 Member States has led to a number of effective tools to assist governments, managing authorities, financial institutions and market partners, in using the Structural Funds to generate investments for innovative, sustainable development.

A worshop on the future programming period 2014-2020 was organized on December 4th in Brussels. It aimed at a better understanding of the new financial framework, knowledge on best practices, improvement of skills and networking.
