Europe’s housing emergency is about to get a reality check.
On 15 October, Housing Europe launches The State of Housing in Europe 2025 at the European Parliament, a data-packed report showing that construction has hit a decade low while millions wait for an affordable home. The event will bring together policymakers, MEPs, and housing leaders to confront the evidence of a deepening housing crisis across the continent, where demand for affordable homes far exceeds supply, construction is slowing to a ten-year low, and waiting lists are swelling.
If you haven’t managed to secure a seat, keep an eye on our channels, we will share key takeaways and highlights from who said what.
